What this page covers

These terms govern your use of this website. They are not our service terms: prep, storage and shipping work is governed by the service agreement between us and each client, which deals with liability for goods, insurance, notice periods and everything else that matters once your stock is in our building. If the two ever appear to disagree about services, the service agreement wins.

This website is operated by Oakmont 3PL Ltd, trading as Oakmont Logistics. By using it you accept these terms.

Pricing information

The rates on this website are our current standard rate card, exclusive of VAT, and they are the default basis of a new client agreement. They are published so you can price your month before speaking to anyone - but a rate card is not a contractual offer, and the rates that bind us both are the ones in your service agreement.

Volume prep rates are worked out on a calendar month and applied retroactively, so reaching a tier re-rates that whole month. Storage is free for the first 30 days of each delivery and then charged weekly on the measured volume of the goods. We give existing clients 30 days’ written notice before a rate changes.

Quotes and estimates

The quote calculator works out an estimate from the published rate card using the figures you type in. It is an estimate and nothing more: actual charges follow actual volumes, actual product dimensions and the services actually used. Storage in particular is measured from your products’ real dimensions once they are with us, so an estimate based on a guessed cubic-metre figure will differ.

Guides and blog articles are general information, not legal, tax, insurance or compliance advice. Where they quote third-party costs - Amazon’s fees, typical market rates - those change, and we cannot promise a figure is current on the day you read it. Verify anything you are about to make a decision on.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the client portal or to another client’s data, scrape the site at abusive volumes, or misuse the contact forms. Portal access is for the client it was issued to.

Availability and liability

We take reasonable care to keep this website accurate and available, but provide it “as is” and do not promise uninterrupted access. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under English law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud. These terms, and any dispute about them, are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
