Book the container
Create the ASN in the portal — SKUs, carton counts, container number — and book the delivery slot. Your forwarder delivers; we take it from the kerbside.

Hand-unload and count
Cartons come off and are counted against the ASN as they land, not estimated afterwards. Damage gets photographed at the doors.

Palletise and put away
Sorted cartons are built and wrapped onto pallets at £7.50 each, then put away — racking, shelf bins, or straight into the FBA prep queue.

What does the devan price include?
The £250 (20ft) or £375 (40ft) covers hand-unloading the container, counting cartons against your ASN and the same-day discrepancy report. Palletising is billed per pallet built and wrapped at £7.50, and ongoing storage at the standard weekly rates — so the total is predictable before the ship has docked.
How do I avoid waiting-time and unbooked-delivery charges?
Book the slot through the portal — that is the whole trick. Unbooked deliveries carry the published £25 fee, and driver waiting beyond the slot is £20 per 30 minutes. With a booked slot and an ASN we are at the doors when the truck arrives, so haulier waiting charges rarely enter the picture.
What if the cartons arrive mixed or unlabelled?
It happens, especially from newer suppliers. We sort mixed or unlabelled cartons at the published £0.20 per unit and record what was actually in them. The discrepancy report will show your supplier exactly where their packing list and reality parted company.
Can container stock go straight into FBA prep?
Yes, and it is the most common route: devan, count, then straight into the prep queue at the tiered per-unit rates. Stock inbound for FBA prep also gets its first 30 days of storage free, which usually covers the whole gap between the container landing and shipments leaving for Amazon.
How quickly do I find out about shortages or damage?
The same day the container is unloaded. The discrepancy report lists announced versus received quantities per SKU, with photographs of any damage taken at the doors. That timing matters: supplier and freight claims are far easier to win with same-day evidence than with a count done weeks later.
